A Parent
In my daughter’s first two years of school, she was not successful in learning how to read. With the red rules she began reading in just three months.

I think the red letter cards are working out good. I think it makes it more fun and interesting doing it that way. GREAT IDEA!

I am really proud that my son is doing absolutely perfect with this. He is doing beyond with the red word cards.

A Speech and Language Specialist
I had a group of four boys. Two were classified, one was in a small class and one was in the resource room. All had struggled to read. All four boys were presented with a list of words. I was concerned that they would react negatively, but instead, three of the boys who were in three different classes ( but whose teachers used the RED LETTER SET) attacked the list with gusto trying to out read one another. The fourth boy, who had not used the program, but another phonics program, sat and watched but made little or no effort to involve himself. Nancy L.
The following are excerpts from letters and notes provided by teachers and parents who have seen the amazing results using
The Red Letter Set.
A Reading Specialist
I was very impressed by the degree of success children using the RED LETTER SET have demonstrated as they decoded words using this phonetic system. All students participated enthusiastically when called upon to apply rules to phonetically regular words. They cheered and applauded each other’s expertise. What was especially apparent was the fact that even the most reluctant readers were able to apply the rules with ease. Christine H.
A Parent
My son entered second grade completely lost and with low self esteem. He had learning difficulties and some neurological processing problems. However, once he started using the RED LETTER method, he caught on to the ‘RED” letter rules and just kept learning one after another. Before we knew it he was reading.
I can remember when we went to his Development Pediatrician, she was astonished with his results. She wanted to buy the “package” for her children.
We had tried workbooks, videos, numerous private tutors, even Sylvan Learning Center. Nothing worked as well as this method. Robin S.
A Resource Center Teacher
I am a resource center teacher. As a first year teacher, I was looking for a different phonics program that I could use with my learning disabled students. I started using THE RED LETTER SET in October and by December I saw improvements in my students decoding skills and fluency.
This program works exceptionally well with my particular students because it relates the sounds to a picture---it is totally visual. What I am most impressed with is how effective the program has been with one certain student. He came to me with severe learning problems. He is in the fourth grade and could never learn to read. His mother purchased expensive programs, but they did not hold his interest.
With this set, he has improved greatly within two short months, and is actually starting to decode and read words. He and my other students have fun with the set, and think this phonics program is a game. They think it is fun. Amy T.
